GENERAL INFO AND WHAT TO EXPECT SHOULD YOU DECIDE ON ONE OF OUR PUPPIES.
At Purchase:
The puppy is guaranteed to be healthy at the time of purchase.
Vaccinations:
The puppy will be current on vaccinations and deworming at time of purchase. Note: It is the responsibility of the buyer to continue vaccinations and dewormings after time of purchase . Our puppies leave our home with one parvo vaccination given at 5 weeks, and one 5 way vaccination administered at 7 weeks. It is recommended every two-three weeks until 16 weeks of age then once annually. You will receive a shot record that contains dates as well as brand of shot given, so your vet may continue the protocol.
10 Day Guarantee:
The buyer has 4 days from date of purchase to have puppy vet checked. PLEASE, DO NOT EXPOSE YOUR NEW PUPPY TO STRANGE DOGS UNTIL YOU CAN HAVE YOUR PUPPY VET CHECKED! THIS CAN PUT YOUR PUPPY AT RISK.
Bone Fam Pets/Lazy S Aussies guarantees the puppy for ten days from the date of purchase against distemper, parvovirus. If your puppy is found to have contracted one of these within the 10 day warranty period, you must contact us immediately. If the puppy should die from one of these illnesses within the 10 day period, the puppy must be autopsied by a certified veterinarian, and a written veterinary statement must be obtained. We must then be contacted within 24 hours. It is the buyers responsibility to provide Bone Fam Pets/Lazy S Aussies with a NOTARIZED copy of the autopsy report with the cause of death. A replacement puppy of the same breed and sex will be provided from the next available litter, if puppy is found to have died due to one the above illnesses. The replacement will be up to the discretion of the breeder (breeders choice). Shipment of replacement puppy is the responsibility of the buyer.
Hereditary or Congenital Defects:
Bone Fam Pets/Lazy S Aussies guarantees for one year against hereditary or congenital disorders that may interfere with the puppies ability to lead a normal life. Conditions are listed and limited to HEART, KIDNEY, SEVERE EYE ABNORMALITIES (that compromise the quality of life in your dog--nothing cosmetic is considered), LIVER AND HIP DYSPLASIA ONLY. No other condition is covered in this contract. There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, i.e.: allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange and other autoimmune disorders that are not covered by this guarantee. We will replace the puppy under the same conditions as stated above, providing a notarized veterinarian statement is submitted to Bone Fam Pets/Lazy S Aussies within 10 days from the date of the diagnosis as to the nature of the problem. Bone Fam Pets/Lazy S Aussies does not provide a guarantee on any cosmetic defects. Again Bone Fam Pets/Lazy S Aussies is not responsible for shipment of replacement puppy.
NuVet Products:
Your puppy has been supplemented with NuVet Plus vitamins since starting on dry food. This vitamin contains powerful antioxidants which eliminates free radicals and boosts the immune system, creating a preventative against skin and coat problems, various forms of cancer, heart disease, arthritis, cataracts, premature aging, tumors, digestive problems, allergies, as well as HIP DYSPLASIA. This all, in return, will keep your dog out of the vet's office, and extend his/her lifespan. We feel that this is something that we have to do for your new pet as we cannot control the dog food you are feeding, (we recommend Eukanuba), environmental issues, and the differences within the household and yard. So I request you at least try one bottle of NuVet, you won't be sorry. Check our Nutrition page for ordering info.
ITEMS SPECIFIC TO AUSSIES:
No guarantee as to adult size of dog. I can come close but there are no guarantees that a toy will stay a toy, or mini stay mini sized because of the wide gene pool used in creating the toy and mini aussies. Under no circumstances does variation in size entitle you to a refund of any kind. I try to accurately forecast the size, but sometimes they surprise me. I would never mislead someone on size of a dog.
I also will not guarantee that the eyes will stay blue. Most times by the time they are four to six weeks we can tell, but there have been a few that have fooled me. If I am unsure, you will be the first to know, but I do want to add that if you are only concerned with eye color, and not over all appearance and most especially health, then you should look elsewhere for a dog.
Once you have chosen your puppy a deposit is needed to assure you receive the puppy you chose. We take deposits from $50 to $200 to hold puppy of choice with the remainder including shipping due 7 days before shipment. We also take deposits for future puppies. I take payments by Paypal, check or Western Union.
Deposits must be received before puppy is considered sold.
Shipping is available most anywhere in the United States or Canada for a fee of $250. Foreign shipping is also available, but price depends on end country. I use a shipping company that specializes in pet shipping, so your puppy is always in good hands. The shipping fee includes crate, health documents and a bit for my gas to the airport. I have a 3 hour trip to the airport, so I try to plan my trips to the airport once for each litter. If the day I plan doesn't work for you and I need to make a special trip there will be an additional $50 charge. I will also meet within a reasonable distance, there will be a gas charge depending on how many people I can meet at once. Usually $50. Or you are welcome to come here and pick up your puppy.
