INT. CH. LAZY S STEVENS' OLE RING
The beginning of it all...................

I always knew he was a champion from the day I met him at 6 weeks of age, but never really thought about proving it until the “show” bug bit. Ring was my first try, and a successful one at that. He was almost 10 years old when he was shown. He is now 14 years old and the sire or grandsire of my girls and one male. He still acts like just a kid and looks like one except for a bit of grey. I believe this says a lot for this “good Ole Boy” and what he and his family are capable of producing. Ring comes from some really good old foundation bloodlines. In the beginning, I only had one pair of dogs, and have built my program from them. Ring and Tanya are the parents of Lazy S Blue Flame, Lazy S Stevens’ Blue Bell, Lazy S Blue Feathers, Lazy S Lady Tracy. Ring and Tanya also are the parents of Conklin’s Ole Ring Blue. He sired many fine puppies himself as well as being the loyal protector of Sondra and Ryan. Ring is retired from breeding now but will always have a place here.

THE GIRLS OF LAZY S
As I mentioned above, Lazy S Stevens' Tanya Tucker was my first introduction into Miniature Australian Shepherds along with Ring. She was such a good girl and only had eyes for me. A computer failure and operator error when trying to save pictures cost me any pictures I had of Tanya and she left me before I could take others. Blue Bell, Feathers, Tracy, and Flame are daughters of Ring and Tanya.
BLUE BELL
LAZY S STEVENS' BLUE BELL The first girl I kept back from Ring and Tanya. She left us last winter, and will be missed. She has produced many fine puppies for me, including Macy & Scamper. She was 15 inches. I am so thankful for Scamper from her last litter and I recently had the opportunity to buy back a son, Lazy S Red Red Rogue who is out of Int. Ch. Lazy S Sugar Creek Sneakin Around.

LAZY LADY TRACY
Another blue merle Ring/Tanya daughter. She and Buddy had a beautiful litter of puppies. I Lazy S Blu Enuff for the Running C is a Tracy/Buddy cross and lives with Sonrda and Ryan. She wa BOB in 2 shows and BBBE in 3 shows in St. Louis at 4 months of age and also got Group 3 twice. Tracy is bred back to Buddy for Christmas babies. This will be her last litter before she finds a new home where she can be the lap dog/companion she was meant to be. 16 inches
FEATHERS
LAZY S BLUE FEATHERS Also a Ring/Tanya daughter, PRA/prcd clear, MDR1 normal/normal. Feathers is a real clown, she is always happy. Tanya is being bred to Blaze at this time. This will be her last litter before she moves on to be a great companion for someone. 17 inches

Ruby just went to live with Nanette in Utah this past week. I think she will be a real asset. We will miss her!!!!!

Ruby is a Blue Flame/Sneaky cross--his last gift to me before he went to France. This girl is really special and should go far.
NAT/ INT. CH. BAILEY'S LAZY S SCAMPER

Bailey wanted her very own aussie and the smaller the better. I let her choose this tiny little black tri girl from Bluebelle and Cody. Scamper has matured at 13 inches.
Scamper took Best of Breed Bred By Exhibitor in show 2 at the IABCA Summer Sieger held in St. Louis. She also got a group 3, not too shabby for a little pregnant girl. I also want to mention that Scamper's ear is pricked because of an injury. A scar behind her ear pulls it up, and she has to really concentrate for it to fold. I have had some comments on her ear and the fact that she got a group third--thanks to Judges who will take the time to feel the scar and can see her wonderful conformation!!
We are sad to say that Scamper is no longer with us, a bad batch of dog food poisened her and she didn't make it. She left me one last gift though and we will make sure that Hot Shot makes her mother proud!! Hot Shot, pictured below continued her winning ways in St.Louis at the 2011 Summer Sieger.
Lazy S Blazen Blue Tanya is a daughter of Flame and Blaze
She achieved her NAT/INT Puppy championships last summer and this past weekend (July 18-19, 2010) went on to her adult titles. She sure did it with a flare. She not only achieved her International adult title and one show toward her National title, she received enough points in 4 shows to have a MASCA and NAMASACUSA title should we decide to join the clubs. She received two herding group seconds in Bred by Exibitor, two group firsts in Bred by Exhibitor, 1 group third in Open class and 2 group firsts in open class class. To top the weekend off, she achieved a Reserve best in show for the Rare Breed show and a Best of show Bred by Exhibitor for show 4. We thank Cori for doing such a good job training and handling her. 17 inches
